i dont think anyone is arguing that hippies dislike metallica, but i think slayer is more the kryptonite. I mean, every now and then metallica does something very un-metal (napster; reload; that symphny thing) but slayer has never slipped off the metal path. as a matter of fact, their last album was called "God hates us all" becoming even more intensly metal than anything ever before.
 

But God hates all hippies, so I think that Slayer may even buy into the hippie agenda.
