Final scores from week 2 (let me know if there are any discrepancies)
The mighty penguin get their first win of the season against Los Tiberones (90-85) Los Tiberones' three pronged RB attack had a soft leg in L. Jordan and failed to deliver the necessary punch. (Really? what is with that Lee Evans character? Thought he was supposed to be the go to guy for the Bills)
The Raiders hand the Ligers their second defeat (85-79.5) So much for that mystical power. P. Manning's 400 yd. day was no match for the Baltimore Defense scoring 39 points.
The Rocket again had their launch scrubbed in a loss to the Roadrunners (87-78) C. Palmer is finally paying dividends as a number 3 pick. K. Warner came back down to earth with 12 points after his phenomenal week one performance.
The Sleepers squeaked one by Shai Halud (101-96) Led by ferocious L.T. and the vicious Chicago Defense in conjunction with Shai Halud's mismanagement on the C. Portis decision (I tried!! I told you three times!!)the Sleepers were able to stay undefeated.
The Super Beetles proved resistent to the Pesticide, winning (83-63.5) Carried by the performance of R. Johnson [Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!] and D. Breese, the Super Beetles were able to win the rematch of last year's SuperBowl. It looks like the Pesticide is off to a slow start in their sophmore season - maybe it was the name change that took the attitude away. (I bet you wish you still had L.T.)
