this is crap. There is definitely a conspiracy to not allow us to repeat as OFFL champs. How can we possibly have a deadline on waiver wire, I understand the trading thing, but the waiver is a free for all. We still play on playing Fargas
 

It never says in the rules that there is a waiver deadline.

The spirit of the rule is to lock the rosters in week 12 so as to not allow players to gain an unfair advantage just prior to the playoffs.

If the owners are not concerned about this, then let the unruliness prevail.

for the sake of example - I could cut Tony Romo and pick up Trent Edwards and then someone in contention picks up Romo.

But again, I'm not too concerned either way, but one of the owners in the top four may have issues with it.

I also think that locking in at week 12 is what was intended - so, no more trades or waivers in the last 2 weeks.

I may have just left a confusing message for the Raiders, so let me clarify. Even if waivers were still allowed, waivers have to be position for position (i.e. QB for QB or K for K). Therefore, you can't trade D. Graham (TE) for J. Fargas (RB)

Also - I didn't realize that your kicker was also Graham, so ignore the last part of the phone message.

We currently have 3 TE's, so cutting a TE for a RB still leaves us with a complete roster. Although, cutting Cedric Benson behoves us more. So, we will stick with the Fargas for Benson thing. I really like this post week 12 waiver thing.
