Hey Grumpy Gamer!

Get off of my Secret Monkey Island!

Comments:
another day, another box of stolen pens.

my ride to work this mornign was packing a gloc.

talk about spooky!!

i felt that if my bus driver had a gloc, i would have goofed off less.

if a thousand shakspears typing at a thousand typewritters for a thousand years, would they write a bunch of monkey crap?

I'm pretty sure it would be a Garfield comic strip.

Although, that's just splitting hairs.

Hey commish!

That's all.

Just Hey.

Have you gotten pepper sprayed yet?

not in the car, but i do put a little on my breakfast. incapasitating!

No, I have not been pepper sprayed yet.

somewhat surprising actually, but then again maybe not, because I tend to not leave the couch

The scores will be along shortly.

I'm just getting to work.

and my portfolio has taken a beating.

If this keeps up MJO will definately require a scholarship or need to be exploring community colleges.

Or the school of hard knocks. I hear that one is easy to get into

on the bright side...oil is back under $100 a barrel

all my stocks are up!! i bet against the market. and of course on black. always bet on the black.

So week four is in the books and there are no 4 - 0 teams like the Bills in the OFFL.

Go Bills!!!!

The Awesome Apes get their first win of the season by winning a shootout with the Decepticons by the score of 105.5 to 97.5

(Larry J finally paid dividends with a 33.5 point performance and Kurt Warner and A Boldin combined for 39 points in what was a rediculus excuse for an NFL football game. The Decepticons kept up there strong performance, but it was not enough. perhaps if JT O'Sullivan did not throw those two interceptions things might have been different, but alas the last of the unbeatens has fallen.)

In a stunner, Slackass holds on to a slim lead to defeat BSOD by the score of 79.5 to 71.5. (there were some obvious roster issues for both teams, BSOD starting two tightends, SA starting two players on bye weeks...someone may want to double check there lineup for next week. In what was a defensive struggle, BSOD got 18 from Pittsburgh and SA got 15 from the Bills and BSOD had a solid QB stat with 29, but the holes in the lineup were too much to overcome)

The Super Beetles retaliate to the waiver wire grab by FFS by defeating them where it matters most by the score of 83 to 71.5

(Santana Moss showed why he was coveted, by notching 13 points, but that was not enough to slow down the Adrian Peterson show. Peterson scored a respectable 23 leading the way for the Super Beetles. FFSs best player was their Tight End with 15.5 and the Def with 16. The QB and 3 RBs combined for a paltry 21. That is not a formula for success)

And the final game of the week saw the Sleepers cruise to an easy victory over the depleated lineup of the Mean Ween Beans by the score of 91 to 62.5 (with no QB or TE in the starting lineup, MWB has too large of a hole to climb out of. the Runnig game did their best with solid perfomances out of all three backs, but it was not enough. The Sleepers finally receive positive points out of the QB position with 10 from Trent Edwards (7 of those on the last TD pass to Lee Evans) and solid performance on the back end with 17 from the San Diego Defense and 13 from Rian Lindell.)

Week 5, here we come

Standing after Week 4

Decepticons 3-1 378
Super Beetles 3-1 297.5
FFS 2-2 352
Sleepers 2-2 326.5
MWB 2-2 306
Slackass 2-2 301.5
Amazing Apes 1-3 304
BSOD 1-3 287.5

as you can see by the standings, things are still very close and points scored will matter by the end of the season.

there are no runaway leaders so far and a tweak to your team through a trade or waiver wire may make the difference.

don't wait until it is too late

btw... any preference on a day for a get together? Sunday the 12th or Sunday the 19th?

ow. my team is bad.

but stil..

GO BSOD!!!!

GO BILLS!!!

Take that, BSOD!!!! HAHAHAHAHAH but i am no good either.

I shall be having fun in the sun on the 12th, as I will be leaving for Disney on the 10th and won't get back til the 14th, but the 19th would be good.

I mean...not fun...making sure kids are not bad. :-E

What??? disney?

how is the 19th for everyone else?

i am not the bigest fan of 9's, but i can make exceptions.

any reason for this fear of 9s?

can we assume that you wont be getting dressed to the 9s?

or going the whole 9 yards?

or packing a 9mm?

or partying like its 1999?

or stop on a dime and give me 9 cents change?

i definitly will do all those things. sigh. you know your team is bad when you loseto a guy whose 1st pick was buffalo defense.

and who hasn't made a lineup change in two weeks

I'm still interseted in either Romo or Breese

or dial 9 for an outside line?

(I hve to dial an 8 for an outside line here. Perhaps the revolution against 9s is under way)

speaking of which, tonight im gonna party like its 5769!!!

I wouldn't even know where to begin.

On one hand, you would think that everything would be virtual by then

but on the other hand, I could easily see a total collapse of society and a return to the caves

So I'm not really sure how I would party like its 5769?

anyway, back to 2008.

BSOD, what do you want for Drew Breese or T Romo?

one of those caves sounds nice. but i would still eat all my meals in pill form in my flying car.
