Remember, thanks to the greed of the NFL, there is a game on Thursday night.
Get your week 11 lineups in

and slackass may want to consider some lineup changes - two of the top ten running backs are on your team, Clinton Pfunk Portis and DeAngelo Williams, neither of which are on your default roster.
Also, you might want to consider a QB change or even starting 3 RBs?

and as an aside....
would it be ok not to help the auto industry, which has moved countless jobs out of the US? and then wonders where the car buying public has gone?
Or is the auto industry just trying to parlay this mees into having the government take over its pension plans?
Do we need to bailout every greedy company or industry that made poor descisions in the name of short term profit vs long term stability?

we are not longer a "long view" country. we no longer think of ther consequenses of our actions and how they will effect the preverbial grandchildren. we are a "one day at a time" country now. living like we are all a part of some 12 step to get us out of trouble. so, people will rejoyce if we bail everyone out, just dont call it socialism. communists are socialists. dont look at why things are ruined, just put a bandaid on it. and if bandaid starts going under, bail 'em out!!
So are we all ready to pay $4.00 a gallon for gas again? Seems that may be one of the actions of the President-elect. His aides say that he is still gung-ho on the environment and I'm sure a carbon tax is in the near future.
Obama did say that he was glad that gasoline was so exspensive, he was just not happy that it spiked all at once. Prepare for that gradual tax to be levied.

I see that my boys are waxing political - what about the "foreign investment tax credit?" Isn't that still there - giving large corps tax breaks for building their companies outside our countries? Doesn't make sense to me.
on a similar note...
whay are people still talking about the Kyoto treaty?
So what if the US did not ratify it. No other countries have kept to their Kyoto targets. so they ratified it, they have still not done anything about greenhouse emisions.

which is exactly what we would be doing if the government bailed out the auto industry. Rewarding them for moving their factories out of the country and making poor decsions
but the flip side to the tax relief is that if the government did not give the tax relief, the whole company waould move offshore, including the so called white collar jobs.
don't worry about that though, The self anointed one will change that.
Along with changing everything else

what he hasn't changed is for the Washington elite to send their children to private schools.
Its good to know that even in the nation's capitol, the public schools are no good.
